Where The High Line Meets Brooklyn
As Brooklyn quickly develops, you grab an opportunity for any green space you can. 60 Water St, the 17-story Dumbo building constructed last year by Two Trees Management and designed by LEESER Architecture, was featured this week in Architectural Digest for its High Line-inspired private rooftop garden.
A team from James Corner Field Operations—the same group that worked on the High Line—designed this 6k SF space, which recalls many of the design elements used at Manhattan's West Side tourist destination, including angular walkways, wooden lounge chairs and mini pools to dip your feet.
The newly constructed building is at 90% capacity. [AD]
