Prodigious To Bring 15k SF Creative Campus To Industry City
Prodigious—a subsidiary of PR and advertising firm Publicis Groupe—is bringing a 15k SF creative campus to Industry City (pictured) in Sunset Park.
Prodigious already has studios at 75 Hudson and 1675 Broadway in Manhattan. The campus will have recording and post-production facilities and will be located on the sixth/top floor of Building 2 (220 36th St).
Set to move later this year, Prodigious is joining other media companies at the 16-building, 6M SF waterfront complex, including Time Inc, Abelcine, Serious Eats, Bust Magazine, FilmRise and Big Orange Sheep.
Prodigious was repped by CBRE’s John Maher, Brad Needleman, Michael Wellen and Greg Maurer-Hollaender. Industry City leasing director Kathe Chase repped the complex in-house alongside colleagues Jeff Fein and Brett Harvey. Kathe has helped Industry City lease more than 2M SF.
Industry CEO Andrew Kimball says Industry City continues to provide a prime destination for companies looking to tap into Brooklyn’s innovative workforce, with its Wired Platinum certification (making it one of the most connected properties in NYC) and preposterously long amenity list.
A shortened list includes a 40k SF food hall with 10 eateries, a 1,000-foot, soon-to-be-retail-lined passageway that connects buildings one through nine, the Industry City Store (filled with products made at the complex), and courtyards for hosting community industry events and pop-up markets.
