Queen Latifah Sells HQ
In Jersey City, a restored firehouse that once housed Queen Latifah's production company, Flavor Unit, has been sold to N.J. Dragon Property LLC, an international recycling company. The buyer paid $2.18M for the 4,500 SF building near the Grove Street PATH station. As one of the first firehouses in Jersey City (so old it housed Engine Company No. 1), the site is historically significant and can't be modified without permission, reports NJ.com.
The building is currently being rented by a software consultant. Savills Studley's Josh Porter, Craig Lemle and Yin Li repped the buyer. Robert De Ruggiero's Luis Negron and Janie Spataro repped Queen Latifah and co-owner Shakim Compere. [NJ]
