Thor Pays $136M For Downtown Brooklyn Office Building
Thor Equities has jumped into the Downtown Brooklyn office market with the $136M buy of 180 Livingston St. The 257k SF building changed hands in two separate sales, with Thor forking over $85M to the Treeline Cos for the top four floors, and $51M to Brooklyn Tabernacle Church, which owned the bottom two floors.
No word yet on plans for any repositioning or marketing to get new tenants into the property. Treeline’s portion’s been on the market since last year, with an initial ask of $100M. Cushman & Wakefield’s Steve Palmese repped Treeline on its portion. [TRD]
