An accounting firm is bringing all of its New York City operations into the MetLife Building above Grand Central Terminal.

Accounting company BDO USA will take up 145K SF at 200 Park Ave., owned by Tishman Speyer and The Irvine Co., for 15 years starting in 2024, consolidating three existing locations, the landlord announced Monday.

BDO will exit its three office locations throughout Manhattan — at 100 Park Ave., 622 Third Ave. and 135 West 50th St. — as it moves into its new space, a source with knowledge of the new deal told Bisnow. The company signed a 121K SF lease for its office at 100 Park Ave. in 2008, Commercial Property Executive reported.

Avison Young’s Mitti Liebersohn, Mark Robbins, Keith Caggiano, Jeff Lindenmeyer and Jeff Burger represented BDO, while Gus Field and Megan Sheehan of Tishman Speyer brokered the deal for the landlord.

Nationally, many companies across the country are adjusting their footprints to account for the changes in consumer and workplace trends prompted by the coronavirus pandemic. In a recent survey, Gensler found 44% of all companies expected to downsize their office footprints post-pandemic, while the rest planned to keep it the same or increase.
