Things People Tell You When They Party with Dinosaurs
At the Museum of Natural History on Thursday for the CoreNet NY annual party, we snapped Colliers tri-state CEO Michael Cohen, back from two days in Evansville, Ind., to interview developers and meet with the mayor’s staff about a global tech company’s back-office build-to-suit there. And then on Saturday, he and his teenagers left early in the morning for vacation in Cabo.
We also snapped the elephant in the room with Cresa’s Hillary Walter and Elyse Candella, The Switzer Group’s Wendy Hall, and Cresa’s Kent Holliday.
Here’s our picture of a picture: BDO’s Sonya Verny and Consolidated Carpet’s Kristine Scotto trying out the BDO-sponsored photo booth. They’re on CoreNet NY’s PR and social media committee, part of the org’s effort to use social and digital media to connect better. They tell us the chapter's followers have jumped in the past month, and more than 30 tweets originated from Thursday’s party using @corenetglobalny or #corenet2014.
