Oracle Billionaire Larry Ellison's Amazing Real Estate Portfolio
Oracle executive chairman Larry Ellison’s got a lot of houses. Scores of them, in fact. He’s bought up large parts of whole neighborhoods in Malibu and around Lake Tahoe. One reason he’s cited for having so many homes is his art collection: they’re a place to store art, and he’s said some of his homes, like one in Kyoto, Japan, he plans to turn into actual museums, according to The Real Deal. His residential holdings include as many as two dozen homes in Malibu, a palace in Woodside, CA, worth an estimated $70M, the Beechwood Mansion in Newport, RI (above), and 98% of the land on the Hawaiian island of Lanai, which he reportedly picked up in 2012 for $500M.
