VTS Accelerate Conference To Unite Industry Leaders, Pushing The Pace Of Digital Innovation In CRE
The world's leading commercial real estate, technology and venture capital thought leaders will convene at Accelerate 2017 in New York City from June 7 to June 9 to discuss the digital transformation occuring in the industry. Hosted by leading CRE tech firm VTS, the event will welcome professionals from both sides of the aisle to discuss how digital tools have transformed the industry and changed the face of client-customer interactions.
As technology has made its way across multiple industries, real estate has been slow to adapt. VTS CEO Nick Romito hopes to change that, starting with getting industry leaders in the same room.
"We wanted to create a conference unlike any other real estate event that truly marries technology and venture capital leadership with the commercial real estate industry," Romito said. "This event will equip our users with an understanding of how other industries have completely revolutionized the way they operate, using data and modern digital strategies to capture real value.”
Accelerate attendees will hear from the nation’s leading real estate owners, including Boston Properties, Blackstone, Brookfield, CREIT, Rudin Management Co., CBRE Global Investors, Kilroy Realty Corp. and Beacon Capital Partners. They will also have an opportunity to learn how the world’s top five brokerage firms are leveraging tech and data to better serve clients, as the C-suite from JLL, CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, NGKF and Colliers join forces for one all-star brokerage panel.
"Accelerate puts a new spin on the everyday real estate conference by combining the perspectives of brokers, owners, venture capitalists, technologists and business leaders under one roof," Rudin Management Co. senior vice president Michael Rudin said. "It's a critical time in our industry and we need to embrace technology to advance the way we do business. Accelerate couldn't come at a more relevant moment in time."
WeWork chief product officer Dave Fano will keynote and share the company’s vision for the future. Additionally, global venture capital firms Insight Venture Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners and OpenView Venture Partners will discuss the changing tenant mix and the tenant of the future.
Attendees will hear from Billy Beane, the baseball analyst who inspired the book-turned-movie “Moneyball,” and Mark Roberge, former HubSpot chief revenue officer, senior lecturer at Harvard Business School and best-selling author on sales and technology. Beane and Roberge will not only discuss the cross-industry digital revolution, but also will speak to how data has become crucial for evolving business strategies.
Embracing the transformative power of technology tools will be on the docket at Accelerate. The event will be divided into three tracks: Transforming into a Digital Company, Customer Acquisition and Redefining Customer Success.
The first track will walk management teams through the best practices for structuring their business for a successful transition to digital, including how to roll out technology in a way that does not alienate business teams while tailoring it to fit the company’s specific needs. Track two will be a master class geared toward optimizing leasing pipelines and marketing in an age where more tenant relationships and prospective leads happen online. Track three will build on nurturing both newfound connections and existing tenant relationships.
Like a startup going through an accelerator program, the Accelerate event will give real estate professionals a boost in using technology to revolutionize their businesses.
Tickets to the event are limited. Those interested in attending Accelerate 2017 are invited to email the VTS team and register their interest.
