It's Not All About Millennials:
Mike Ablon On Developing Offices
For Generation Connected

Mike Ablon, principal and founding partner of PegasusAblon, does not build or buy offices for millennials.

Instead of limiting himself to one narrow demographic, he builds offices for Generation Connected, the multigenerational, overlapping demographic of people living and working in the fast-paced, interconnected world of today.

Craig Hall Calls Out 7 Trends Affecting The Office Market Today

Office activity today can be boiled down to seven drivers, according to Hall Group Chairman and founder Craig Hall. During his keynote speech at Bisnow's Big South Office event, Hall listed changes in financing, technology and information availability, office space density, parking demand, co-working and flexible leasing, amenities and wellness and sustainability as the major forces shaping today's office market.

Midwestern Multifamily Real Estate Is Now A Game Of Inches

Rents are flatlining in many Midwestern markets, spurring owners to look for other avenues to achieve yield. From concessions to infrastructure to small investments in tech, developers and property managers are pulling out all the stops to reach their revenue growth goals.

In a market with flat rent growth, technology can be both a revenue generator and a cost-saver. IOTAS founder Scé Pike said good tech packages are leading to $45 rent bumps at Class-B assets for every $500 to $600 in investment,…

Why Billionaire Jeff Vinik Has Gone All-In On Tampa

Almost a decade ago, Jeff Vinik went shopping for a hockey team.

“There were a dozen that were for sale — or could have been for sale,” he told Bisnow in a phone interview.

So he moved to Tampa full time, bought the Tampa Bay Lightning NHL franchise — he is also part owner of the Boston Red Sox — and set about transforming the city.
