Investors Still Aren't Worried About Risks From Natural Disasters, But That Could Prove Costly

Last year was the costliest on record, with 219 weather disasters causing $1.5 trillion in damages, according to the National Centers for Environmental Information. Sixteen weather events exceeded $1B in damages, tying 2011 for the record in billion-dollar disasters.

The real estate owned or occupied by the presidents of the United States since George Washington have been as varied as the men themselves: some as cherished as Washington's Mount Vernon or Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, others as obscure as William Henry Harrison's Grouseland or Herbert Hoover's two-room cottage.

Excluded are the two best known, Mount Vernon and Monticello, in favor of equally interesting or architecturally significant places that are not as well known.
