San Diego Office Market Thrives As Region Grabs A Bigger Piece Of The Tech Pie

As an office market, San Diego has a lot going for it, according to the speakers at Bisnow's San Diego Office Market event. Businesses and employees still want to be here, for one thing, including tech sector companies that promise the kind of growth that absorbs more office space.

Besides that, the advantage is still with San Diego among California metros. It is less expensive than San Francisco while still offering a highly skilled workforce, and less congested than Los Angeles, while still offering a SoCal lifestyle.

CoreCivic Plans Expansion Of Otay Mesa ICE Detention Center

Nashville-based operator CoreCivic, formerly Corrections Corporation of America, has filed for building permits in Otay, California, to add a 66,400 SF extension to the Otay Mesa Immigration and Customs Enforcement Detention Center at 7488 Calzada De La Fuente.
