Major Retail Rising Near Miami Courthouse, Health District

The doctors at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the bailiffs and clerks at the Richard Gerstein Justice Building hopefully like hot dogs, because the vendor slinging wieners outside the courthouse is one of the few lunch options around in the so-called Health District, long a retail desert.

Overcoming last-mile delivery challenges in some of the most densely populated parts of the U.S. has pushed industrial developers to pursue multistory warehouses. A new report shows taller warehouses come with their own set of challenges.

Q&A With Convene's New Director Of Real Estate Peter Sellick

It has been a busy and banner year for workplace solutions provider Convene.

Just this year, the New York-based company has raised $152M in a Series D funding round, acquired an analytics company and penetrated the West Coast market for the first time, opening locations at Brookfield's Wells Fargo Center and 777 Tower in downtown Los Angeles. New Cooling, Computing Advancements Could Mean Savings For Data Centers

A key way to save on costs when it comes to data centers is saving on power, so those who are building and running data centers are constantly thinking of ways to improve efficiency — most notably in cooling, which tends to be the biggest power draw.
