TMG Partners Adds Life Science Company To 1330 Broadway In Oakland
Clovis Oncology will expand into Oakland with a 32K SF lease at TMG Partners’ 1330 Broadway building. Clovis also has a presence in Mission Bay in San Francisco. The biopharmaceutical company will occupy the ninth and 10th floors of the Oakland building. The 18-story, 316K SF building is now 85% leased. Additional new tenants include Oracle and Arup.
TMG Partners bought the building in 2015 for $80M and renovated the lobby and building entrance, added new common area finishes, updated the elevator and building systems, refurbished the conference facilities and added enhanced bike parking and commuter showers. The renovation cost $30M, according to the San Francisco Business Times. The building is at the 12th Street Oakland BART station and along several AC Transit lines.
