3 Projects Headed To Anaheim
Orange County is booming with new construction projects, many in the increasingly popular Platinum Triangle area.
Here are three of the biggest projects going up in Anaheim.
1. LT Platinum Center
Hong Kong's LT Global Investments is building a $500M, 14.8-acre, transit-oriented, mixed-use project adjacent to Angel Stadium called LT Platinum Center.
The development is at the corner of State College Boulevard and Orangewood Avenue.
It will feature 218K SF of retail, 400 residential units, 200 hotel rooms and 75k SF of office space.
LT Platinum Center is expected to be completed in 2022.
2. Jefferson Stadium Park
JPI's Jefferson Stadium Park Phase 1, across from Angel Stadium, is under construction in Anaheim.
Phase 1 consists of 371 apartments with amenities that include a resort-style pool, a game room, a rooftop lounge with a spa and a fitness center.
A 1.1-acre public park included in the project will be accessible to the Platinum Triangle community. It will feature an off-leash dog park, bocce ball courts and outdoor fitness equipment.
Construction on Phase 1 began in March and is expected to be completed by the fall of next year. Construction began on Phase 2 in June.
The $364M project is one of the largest developments in Orange County. The entire project will include a total of 1,079 units with three swimming pools and 14,600 SF of commercial space, the Orange County Register reports.
3. A-Town
Lennar Corp.'s A-Town is under construction in Anaheim.
The first phase of the project, which consists of 400 units on 5.6 acres, is currently under construction.
The rest of the 40-acre project is still in the planning stages, but the entitlements allow for building an additional 1,346 units, for a total of 1,746.
A minimum retail requirement of 38k SF with a maximum of 50k SF will also be allowed, according to Lennar Corp.
Architects Orange is also working on the development.
The projected completion date for the project, being built at the corner of State College Boulevard and Katella Avenue in Platinum Triangle, is 2018.
