New Apartments Under Way in Platinum Triangle
A Texas developer, JPI, broke ground recently on a 400-unit Jefferson Platinum Triangle apartment complex near Angel Stadium in Anaheim, the LA Times reports. The development, according to the Times, is the latest example of the revived interest in the Platinum Triangle, coinciding with the opening of Anaheim's ARTIC transportation center. Plans for the district call for 20,000 residential units and 19M SF of commercial space, but the recession put the kibosh on most development for some years. The new JPI apartments are in addition to the roughly 1,000 residential units underway in the area.
