Auction.com Trades Manhattan Towers in Record Online Deal
Irvine-based Auction.com says the recent sale of the 309k SF Manhattan Towers in Manhattan Beach is "the largest online real estate transaction ever"—and in fact, the largest e-commerce sale period, one for the Guinness Book of World Records. According to that publication, the current top online sale was the purchase of a Gulfstream V jet by billionaire Mark Cuban. Manhattan Towers sold for a bit north of $96M, with CWCapital the seller and the broker was Eastdil Secured, the Orange County Register reports. The buyer hasn't been disclosed. [OCR]
