Nixon Library Gets Makeover
The Nixon Presidential Library & Museum’s permanent galleries are going to receive a year-long, $15M renovation. Among other changes, older static exhibits will be replaced with interactive displays using more modern tech. The renovations of the Yorba Linda property will be a joint project between the Richard Nixon Foundation and the National Archives and Records Administration, which runs the museum, the Orange County Register reports. The president’s birthplace, his and Pat Nixon’s gravesites, the presidential helicopter and the White House East Room will remain open during the renovation. [OCR]
