It's Official! CITC Breaks Ground
You’ll always remember what you were doing when Germany beat Brazil. (Unless you’re a Brazil fan and you’re trying to purge it from memory.) And now you'll remember what you were up to when the Comcast Innovation & Technology Center broke ground. Liberty Property Trust announced this week that Comcast’s second tower is officially under way. While it won’t open until early 2018, it’ll bring a lot with it: 1.3M SF of office space—74% of it occupied by Comcast—and a 222-room Four Seasons Hotel. Liberty says it’s investing $185M in the nearly billion-dollar project, which also includes $40M in public grants for infrastructure improvements.
