New Market Tax Credits Pay for New School
September 26, 2012
More than 700 K-8 students officially moved into the new Pan American Academy Charter School (PAACS) in Philadelphia last week, marking the moment outside the 57k SF new structure with the Pledge of Allegiance and other ceremonies. The development of the school was financed through the Chase New Markets Tax Credit Charter School Fund, which created by the Reinvestment Fund and Chase. The fund enabled PAACS to move from an older, substandard facility into the new school. |
