Retailers Look to Bucks County
October 10, 2012
Bucks County has found a sweet spot: It's far enough away from King of Prussia, the closest major retail hub, and not over-retailed itself. That makes it an attractive trade area, particularly for expansion-minded national chains. “Apparel stores are among the retail segments that tend to do well here,” The Sawin Group’s Kathy Sawin tells us. Recently, her company repped the Shoppes of Wyomissing in Reading in leasing space to three new tenants: Menchey Music, Berkshire Shoe & Boot, and Charming Charlie. It's a logical trio: tap your toe to the music, wear out your boot, get it fixed next door, then accessorize. |
