Here we have APF Properties' Berndt Perl who unveiled the first photovoltaic system in a multi-tenant building in suburban Philly during a dedication ceremony earlier this month. APF Properties just finished a 1.3M KW/HR solar system (made up of nearly 4,000 panels) at its 500 Virginia Drive property, a 380k SF Class-A tower in Ft. Washington. Cushman & Wakefield's Missy Quinn says the project cost $4.3M with a 30% Federal tax credit, plus a commonwealth finance authority grant for $700k. APF acquired 500 Virginia Drive in 2007 from GE and has since filled it with Honeywell and MetroPCS' regional HQ. |
