SWEET DEALS IN CENTER CITY
July 11, 2012
Retail leasing is picking up at a brisk pace in Center City. Fameco CEO Brandon Famous's CC leasing team has repped both retailers and landlords in more than seven retail deals, including three Philadelphia firsts. |
Fameco broker Paige Barrow repped landlord Pearl Properties in its deal with Swarovski to relocate from the Shops at Liberty Place to a new 1,800 SF location at 1421 Walnut St. (They needed some room to let the crystals breathe.) “There’s definitely been a boost of retail interest in Center City," says Paige. In recent months, Fameco brokers have also repped Chipotle on its 12th and Walnut lease, and Urban Igloo on its new Philly HQ at 2015 Walnut St. |
Need solid proof that the food truck trend is here to stay? Paige recently assisted cupcake truck purveyor Sweet Box in obtaining its first retail location at S 13th and Pine streets. (We hope they renovate the space to look like a giant truck. It's the only way we eat nowadays.) She also repped the landlord. Staying with the snack food theme, Paige joined Fameco's Matt Mandel in finding Insomnia Cookies its new space on 16th St. |
