It was no contest: a resounding majority of you agreed that the CITC will make Philadelphia better for business. “The message is that Philadelphia is a place for forward thinking companies and entrepreneurial pathfinders,” one reader wrote. Not all respondents were without skepticism though: one chimed in saying that business isn't flocking back “until Philadelphia has equitable taxing laws, safe streets and improved public education.” IEI Architects’ Paul Thompson, meanwhile, offered a positive yet nuanced assessment: “It shows great optimism about Philly’s future. If only we can get it together with the public schools, we’ll have the world class city we want.”
