Desperate for Specialized Industrial Space
As a prime northeast distribution hub, eastern Pennsylvania's industrial properties are in strong demand, but even more coveted are specialized facilities, NAI Mertz SVP Jeff Licht tells us (snapped with son Jared). That's especially true for owner-occupants, he explains. Along with colleague Adam Lashner, Jeffrey recently repped KTKS LLC in its sale of a 12k SF industrial facility at 2729 E Butler St in Philly to Crown Poultry.
“There's a very high demand for USDA-approved food processing facilities in Philadelphia," Jeff adds. "Because this facility is equipped with freezer and cooler storage, it was a very sought-after property." Crown Poultry, a regional food and paper company, plans to use the building for food manufacturing and distribution.
