Chicago Schawarma Settles in Philly
Naf Naf Grill, a Chicago-based chain specializing in shawarma, pita and falafel is establishing a beachhead on the East Coast by expanding into the Philadelphia area.
The first location will be in King of Prussia, with at least 10 open in the metro area by the end of next year. Co-founder Justin Halpenny calls Philadelphia a very trendy city, with "a lot of pockets that fit our demographics," reports the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Justin adds that expanding in Philly will make it easier to enter other nearby markets, such as Washington and New York. [PBJ]
