Phoenix is the No. 10 city in the country that most resembles the US as a whole, WalletHub reports. By that the company means a number of characteristics, such as gender balance, age, racial composition, income and educational attainment. It says ranking on the list is important for a city's economic development for a number of reasons, including deciding whether a company wants cultural variety or uniformity; learning which cities exceed or lag behind national standards for certain factors, such as education or income; and finding the most fertile ground to develop an entrepreneur’s business idea.
