Hampton Inn Phoenix Airport Trades in Mass Hotel Deal
Ashford Hospitality Trust acquired the 106-room Hampton Inn Phoenix Airport hotel as part of a portfolio deal in which it paid $224M for nine hotels. The hotel joins three others in Arizona owned by Ashford: two in metro Phoenix and one in Flagstaff. The Hampton Inn in Phoenix will now be managed by Texas-based Remington Lodging, the Phoenix Business Journal reports. The other hotels were scattered around the country, with properties in Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania, and the entire portfolio includes more than 1,250 rooms. [PBJ]
