Former Pappas School Site Becoming an Apartment Project?
The City of Phoenix released an RFP for development for 4.6 acres of land near Fillmore Street and Fourth Avenue, with proposals due on July 15. The site, in part, used to be the location of the Thomas J. Pappas School for homeless children. The Fillmore RFP will probably generate a lot of interest from developers, considering the heat of the Downtown Phoenix market, the Phoenix Business Journal reports. As many as 900 apartments could go on the location. [PBJ]
