Scottsdale Apartments in Huge Demand
Scottsdale's hot for new apartments. According to Wood Partners development director for Arizona and Nevada Todd Taylor, the company's Alta Scottsdale, which is abut a mile from Downtown Scottsdale, is 25% leased after only two months of pre-leasing; the 218-unit property officially opened this week. Its popularity, he tells us, comes down to a value proposition, with rents about 30% less than high-end apartments Downtown. And it doesn't hurt that its floor plans are named after cocktails: the Mojito, the Cosmopolitan and the Mai Tai.
