McMinnville To Get New Boutique Hotel
A group of local investors is planning a new hotel in McMinnville to take advantage of the area's popularity as a short hop from Portland with a lot of wineries. Plans call for breaking ground for the 36-room Atticus Hotel this spring, reports the Portland Business Journal, with completion slated for spring 2018.
The group, Odd Fellows Building LLC, includes Erin Stephenson and Brian Shea, who own Live McMinnville LLC and 3rd Street Flats, and McMinnville residents Rob Stephenson and Jeb Bladine.
The development is being financed locally by Citizen's Bank, with the Oregon Economic Development Corp and the Small Business Administration. Architect Nathan Cooprider designed the property; R&H Construction will be the general contractor. [PBJ]
