Former Portland Printing Facility Slated For Redevelopment

Winkler Development and Watumull Properties unveiled redevelopment plans for 2000 NW Wilson St., a 5.3-acre site occupied by a commercial printing facility owned by Cenveo. The developers are calling the site The Hopper, and say it will be a "repurposed modern industrial campus" totaling 167k SF. The project is slated to be available to occupants in Q3 2017.

The site could be a single-user HQ campus or a multi-tenant facility for up to three tenants, according to Cushman & Wakefield, which is marketing the property on behalf of Winkler and Watumull, who acquired it in 2015 for $7.5M. The property is zoned General Industrial and is also within the city’s E-Commerce Enterprise Zone.

The Cenveo facility will close the operations by the end of March, according to the Oregonian. The campus derives its name from a major piece of manufacturing equipment on the southwest corner of the building that will remain after redevelopment as a reminder of the building’s origins.
