CBRE Appoints Komadina San Diego Managing Director
If recent events are any indication, Paul Komadina should do well leadership-wise as the new managing director of CBRE's San Diego Region. He got sick on a Thursday and lost his voice for two days. Nonetheless, Paul not only rallied a group of colleagues to run theirfirst half-marathon on Sunday, he completed the race himself.
Before this, Paul(with wife JJ), was a co-leader of the San Diego private capital group. He doesn't take up his new duties until April 1 (when, hopefully, he won't be told it was all an elaborate prank), but Paul tells us he'll be focused on the owner/investor side of the business, leading the capital markets group and also overseeing the landlord leasingbusiness for office, industrial, and retail space. San Diego executive managing director John Frager cites Paul's client relationships, and expertise in capital markets, investment sales, and personnel development. A key initiative will be coordinating the collaboration of CBRE professionals across all business lines to provide a full-service platform to clients. Outside of work,Paul says the two things he enjoys most are spending time on the water boating with JJ and riding their beach cruisers around Coronado.
