Some local architects have a new design on their business cards. Cuningham Group acquired the healthcare practice of NTD Architects as part of the global design firm's expansion here and inPhoenix. Joining the firm are three former NTD principals including San Diego-based Wayne Hunter and Phillip Soule--plusthe firm's entire healthcare designstaff and its portfolio. (It's like the Brady Bunch with better hair.) They'll collaborate with Cuningham's LA-based healthcare market group leader Lee Brennan. NTD's local projects include the Douglas & Nancy Barnhart Cancer Center at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center (above).
