| Yesterday, we also chatted with Dealy Development CEO Perry Dealy, one of the speakers at our Future of Downtown Summit, Dec. 5 at the Omni San Diego Hotel (sign up here). He's the development manager for the Chhatrala Group's Columbia Tower, a limited-service hotel that's moving into the starting blocks while it waits for financing. He's also working on the 2,850-room hotel requirement for the Chula Vista waterfront plan as well as the Manchester Pacific Gateway project, an eight-block mixed-use hotel, office, and retail development on Harbor Drive. Perry tells us he's ?cautiously optimistic that in 2013, we'll have financing available to move forward on commercial projects.? The company marked its 20th anniversary this year. In his spare time, Perry loves golf and is raising an 11-year-old son, Jimmy. |
