Former World Trade Center Houses Residences, Services
The World Trade Center has reopened. (No, not that one.) The former World Trade Center office building in San Diego (1250 Sixth Ave) has been repurposed as Connections Housing, providing permanent housing and support services for Downtown's homeless population. Affirmed Housing Group is the developer of the $38M project, partnering with PATH (People Assisting the Homeless),and Family Health Centers in San Diego. The multipurpose facility contains 223 housing units, including 73 studio apartments, and a health center that provides preventative, primary, and mental health care.
