HIRING ON THE REBOUND
April 4, 2012
Another sign that the real estate industry is recovering: hiring is up, according to the real estate recruitment and staffing firm RETS Associates. The firm just named Carol Cranfield managing director of its growing San Francisco office. President Kent Elliott says her addition is a strategic move, driven by increased demand for RETS? employment searches. The firm specializes in interim, permanent, and executive positions in the commercial real estate and financial services industries. |
Last year, RETS posted an 83% increase in job orders over 2010 (363 vs 198), including executive placements of C-level positions. Half of that was in SoCal and 20% was outside the state, with NorCal accounting for about 30%. (The remaining 10% was for math teachers nationwide.) Carol, who brings more than 20 years of experience, will be responsible for expanding the firm's business platform in the market. Before this, she was president of The Cranfield Corp, a 17-year-old, Bay Area executive search firm specializing in both commercial and corporate real estate. Download site here. |
