NODS FROM NAHB
October 20, 2011
Kudos to Prometheus Real Estate Group, which took top honors as the 2011 Property Management Company of the Year in NAHB’s Multifamily Pillars of the Industry Awards. The firm was singled out for its “innovative and fun” approach to attracting a creative class of renters. President Jackie Safier says Prometheus set out tochallenge the traditional leasing experience and approach to design.Examples: community workspaces that replace traditional desk-filled leasing offices and creative suites sporting eclectic furnishingsand “artisan surprises.” (Ceramic pots in place of traditional bathroom fixtures, perhaps?) |
The San Mateo-based firm also took the NAHB award for bestconversion/repositioning for the Markham Apartments in Cupertino (above), and as well as best leasing center for the Heatherstone Apartments in Mountain View. (But it didn’t win all the marbles—the firm’s Prometheus Craigslist 2.0 was a finalist for best marketing campaign.) The laurels bring Prometheus’ take in this year’s awards derby to seven. |
