Old Mint's New Uses

Downtown's Old Mint celebrated Small Business Saturday by transforming into a mini mall all weekend. More than 50 retailers from Hayes Valley's Urban Air Market--jewelers and clothing companies--were invited inside to sell their wares in the future home of the San Francisco Museum at the Mint. The historic landmark was built in 1874. Yes, that means it survived the earthquake, so what's a little Black Friday rush?
