Lowenberg made its debut this week in Sonoma County, snapping up a Dr. Pepper Snapple Group-leased industrial property at 2200-2240 South McDowell Blvd. We got Cushman's George Eckard to tell us more about the buyer. Lowenberg is a regional private investor that owns in the Napa area, East Bay, and now Petaluma. He says interest was very good from local and regional investors. Petaluma is not traditionally a market that national institutional investors find of strong interest, George tells us. They look more toward major logistics hubs; in our market, that includes Oakland, Hayward, Fremont and Newark. Cushman repped both sides; the seller was an affiliate of PB&J Acquisitions and Investcorp. Thermo Fisher Scientific is the other tenant in the 186k SF property, with the remaining 46k SF being marketed for lease by Dowling and Sarno.
