Vertical Ventures buys Oakland's Eastmont Town Center

Walnut Creek-based Vertical Ventures just bought Eastmont Town Center, a 541k SF retail center in Oakland. Vertical founder Hamid Rezapour, who was mum on the purchase price, cited the project's stable and reliable cash flow, 75% of which is generated by high-credit tenants. The company is planning several improvements to the 80% leased property this year, including a new roof and other cosmetic renovations. Cushman & Wakefield repped both sides of the deal.
