Aimco Celebrates Grand Opening Of 463-Unit Redwood City Complex
Apartment Investment and Management Co. celebrated the grand opening of Indigo Apartment Homes in Redwood City on Feb. 23. Aimco, which owns and manages the property, acquired the community for $320M and partnered with developer PAULS Corp.
Indigo is a 10-story luxury apartment community with 463 units. The property at 525 Middlefield Drive offers high ceilings, oversized windows, hardwood flooring and contemporary kitchens with hardwood cabinetry. Several apartments have private patios or balconies. The complex also includes 44 penthouse-level units with exclusive 10th floor access, designer kitchens, high-end finishes and views.
The property has one level of underground parking, two levels of above-ground parking with storefront office, several stoop-accessible residential units, and three residential towers rising over the three-story base.
Amenities include an 18k SF sundeck with saltwater swimming pool; an outdoor workout space and spa with indoor fitness center that offers a yoga and spin studio; and social gathering spaces, including open-air cabanas with a fireplace and an outdoor theater. The first residents moved in last July and the community is 80% leased.
The complex is near Downtown Redwood City.
