How S.F. Rents Are Hazardous to Residents' Health

A new report from Zillow says rents in the Bay Area are so high that locals are skipping out on visits to their doctors or dentists just to keep up. Renters are shelling out more than 45% of their income on housing these days, with no end in sight. Rents are up 14.5% from a year ago, reports the San Francisco Business Times.The single-family front isn't any better, as prices rose 9.7% in May, second only to Denver in the nation. [SFBT]
