Developers are scrambling to contain the fallout from the Millennium Tower’s unexpected sinking. Jay Paul Co, the developer behind 181 Fremont, issued a statement saying the building’s Arup-engineered foundation was far more stable since it drilled into bedrock. Jay Paul also stressed the building’s resiliency features that allow it to survive an earthquake, reports Curbed.
