First The Tower Started Sinking. Are Prices Next?
Condos in San Francisco's Millennium Tower regularly command multi-million dollar prices. But the building's woes could be hurting those prices.
A one-bedroom condo at the tower held the record for being the most expensive of its kind in San Francisco at $3.8M. But the building's foundation problems have led to sinking and tilting beyond what was expected, reports Curbed SF. The bad press might have contributed to the owner cutting the asking price by $200k from $3.8M to $3.6M.
While other Millennium Tower condos on market haven’t slashed prices, a general cooling in the condo market could lead to wider discounting. [Curbed]
