C&W's Big Promotions
When you seal the deal for the biggest lease in S.F. history, a promotion is probably in order. Here's Cushman & Wakefield's Dan Harvey—aka the broker with square foot-loving Salesforce as a client—who was just elevated to exec vice chairman. The rare title requires consistent top-level production, among other criteria, C&W CEO of North America John Santora says. Here's a roundup of some Salesforce deals he's done: a 1.3M SF lease expansion in 2012 for its HQ campus, the 714k SF lease for Salesforce Tower (news we first broke), done in conjunction with another historic lease for Salesforce Tower London, and co-brokering the $640M purchase of 50 Fremont on behalf of Salesforce.
In addition, Sandra Boyle was just promoted to the newly created post of chief operating officer for S.F. at C&W. Sandra will partner with market leader and West Region president Joe Cook in setting and implementing the strategy for growth of the S.F. office. Her responsibilities will include day-to-day oversight of all service lines and business development, recruiting, workforce training and PR. Joe's role will remain unchanged. Since 2011, Sandra's been responsible for asset, property management and on-site personnel for C&W's Class-A office investment portfolio of about 6.5M SF in S.F., including Pyramid Center at 345 Cal, one of S.F.'s tallest buildings.
