Girl Power: Congrats to Colliers Rookie
It's no Heisman Trophy, but impressive all the same. At Colliers' 2015 Kickoff Meeting at the 49ers stadium in Santa Clara with 400 peers, VP Mandy Pakes won the Rookie of the Year award. The commercial mortgage broker got the honor for being the highest-grossing new broker in her first full year of brokerage at Colliers. The award was a competition among all the new brokers in its Nevada and Northern California offices (S.F. does its own awards).
The 32-year-old ended 2014 with a bang, closing three loans in December with her business partner (Colliers SVP Bob Kincheloe), including a value-add retail center in Tahoe, an R&D building in Campbell and an apartment building in Texas. To celebrate she visited the Arctic Circle of Norway for ice climbing and dog sledding (above, on the ferry en route). Mandy also spends some time giving back. Over Presidents' Day Weekend in 2014 she erected two houses in two days via Homes of Hope in Tijuana.
