Harvest Under Contract For Historic Oakland Office
At Bisnow's 2nd Annual Oakland State of the Market event last month, Harvest Properties project director Kathryn Collins revealed her firm is under contract to buy a historic office building in Uptown Oakland. Now we know which one. Harvest Properties is going for the 110k SF Leamington building at 19th and Franklin streets. The 1920s property is rumored to be priced at $17.6M, or $110/SF, reports the San Francisco Business Times. The seller is Portfolio Properties Investors, which has owned it for more than three decades. It's gone through several stages: an elite Spanish-style hotel, a rock music venue in the 1960s, bankrupt in the 1970s. [SFBT]
