San Francisco Chart of the Week: How Are Office Rents Rising?
According to JLL Research, Silicon Valley has seen rents grow 14.1% annually since 2010 on average, making it the fastest grower in the Greater Bay Area. San Francisco CBD was a close second with 12.9% average annual growth, doubling its rents in five years. But for those trying to avoid super high rents, Mid-Peninsula might be the best alternative, since it's grown a slower rate, yet is still close to the hottest Bay Area markets.
