S.F. Requirements Soar in '15
Big tenants are swirling in the S.F. market and Bisnow has learned one wants more space than everyone originally thought.
We told you earlier this year Fitbit was on the prowl for about 70k SF in the city, but we're hearing now that number has doubled. Cresa is repping the tech firm. But the space could be hard to come by, with several other large tech companies in the hunt, including GoPro, whose deal blew up at 600 Harrison. The company is still in the market for 80k SF.
Our sources say the square footage tally of tenants in the market has shot up to 7.2M SF (from 5.1M SF last year), with companies looking everywhere possible. One building every major tenant in the market is eying is Salesforce Tower (rendered), though there hasn't been a major lease inked there since Salesforce's record-breaking one nearly a year ago.
