Stella & Dot Moves HQ South of S.F. To Sierra Point Towers
Skincare and accessories company Stella & Dot Family Brands has moved its HQ to Brisbane near South San Francisco, leasing one full floor of Diamond Investment Properties' Sierra Point Towers.
Stella & Dot founder and CEO Jessica Herrin says the company’s growth drove the move from San Bruno. “We are inspired by the beautiful setting with Bay views as well as our newly renovated space designed to enhance collaboration and innovation.” The company has hired designer Kendall Ershmar for the new offices.
Diamond Investment Properties CEO Steve Diamond cited the location as a major attraction. Pharmaceutical firms such as Raptor Pharmaceutical and Aimmune Therapeutics as well as Chinese Internet company NetEase have moved to the towers in the last year.
Newmark Cornish & Carey repped Diamond Investment Properties. Newmark senior managing director Craig Kalinowski discussed the accessibility and amenities of Sierra Point. “Prime accessibility with shuttle service to Caltrain and BART is a draw,” he says, "as are the amenities tenants expect in a Class-A office project, such as the on-site restaurants and food trucks, fitness center, basketball court, outdoor collaboration areas, ample parking and the scenic Bay Trail, which surrounds the property.”
Savills Studley's Matt Chatham and Steve Barker repped Stella & Dot.
The region around South San Francisco has seen substantial expansion over the past few years due to a resurgent biotech boom.
An earlier version located the towers in South San Francisco. The towers are nearby in the suburb of Brisbane.
